CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — A 38-year-old woman involved in the proliferation of illegal drugs in Bulacan province was arrested by authorities in Meycauayan City over the weekend.
The buy-bust operation was conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan, and various units of the Philippine National Police in Bulacan.
PDEA Bulacan Chief John Jerme Almerino identified the suspect as Lorna Salvador of Balagtas, Bulacan.
He said that Salvador is engaged in bulk distribution of shabu in Bulacan and has been tagged as a high-value-target.
Salvador yielded 50 grams of alleged crystal meth (shabu) worth P340,000.
The suspect was charged in court for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165.
