Developers’ awards cement Cebu’s status as premier real estate investment hub

CEBUANO property developers and projects won big during the recently concluded PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards 2023 held in Shangri-La The Fort, Manila.

The 11th Property Guru recognized excellent companies and projects from the country’s urban and provincial property markets. Around 71 winners earned golden statuettes across 65 categories this year, representing the real estate of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

According to Jeremy Williams, managing director of Marketplaces of the PropertyGuru Group, the winners reflect the “remarkable growth and progress in the Philippines.”

These recognitions reaffirm Colliers Philippines’ previous statements that Cebu continues to stand out as a highly appealing investment destination for real estate offerings.

“Cebu remains one of the most attractive and largest residential hubs outside of Metro Manila. National developers continue to launch in Metro Cebu as they are optimistic about the locale’s potential for growth post-Covid. In our view, the improving sentiment from businesses and individual investors and end-users will likely support the Cebu residential sector’s growth,” Colliers said.
