CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — A suspected member of the Sputnik Gang was arrested by personnel of Angeles City Police Station 6 in Barangay Ninoy Aquino, Angeles City over the weekend.
Colonel Amado Mendoza, director of Angeles City police, identified the suspect only as “Amurao”.
Mendoza said “Amurao” is considered a high-value individual (HVI) listed in the drug watchlist.
During the operation, authorities seized suspected crystal meth (shabu) weighing 110 grams valued at P750,000 from the suspect.
Charges for violation of Section 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Amurao.
