Zamboanga City Government turns over 10 motorcycles to ZCPO

THE motorcycle cops’ unit of the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) got a boost in terms of mobility from the city government.

Mayor John Dalipe has turned over on Monday, October 2, has turned over 10 units of motorcycle to the local police and were received by Police Colonel Alexander Lorenzo, ZCPO director.

The turnover of motorcycles was formally held after the flag ceremony in front of City Hall Monday, October 2, 2023..

Costing a total of P1.5 million, the motorcycles were purchased using the 2022 Peace and Order funds of the city.

Dalipe said his administration remains unrelenting in its commitment to the security sector for the best interest of Zamboangueños.

The mayor said he fully supports the initiatives and advocacies of law enforcers to ensure the security and public safety.

The ZCPO has recently launched “Night Rider Cuida Vida Zamboanga,” conducting motorcycle patrols nightly in different villages of the city. (SunStar Zamboanga)
