CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The top 1 most wanted person of Macabebe town was arrested by theblocal police on Monday.
Colonel Levi Hope Basilio, director of Pampanga Police Provincial Office, identified the suspect as Romilo Garcia, 40.
Basilio said the suspect is facing five counts of violation of Republic Act 8353 for Statutory Rape and eight counts of Acts of Lasciviousness.
He was arrested in Barangay Santa Maria in Macabebe during an operation launched by Macabebe police, Pampanga 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion, and Regional Intelligence Unit.
The arrest was based on the Warrant of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 54 in Macabebe town.
Basilio described the arrest of Garcia is "a step closer towards their goal of creating a crime-free community in Pampanga."
