THE Criminologists out hustled the Dents in the fourth period to come away with a 94-82 win in the Professionals Basketball League Season 2 on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023 at the Roadstar Sports Gym in Pardo, Cebu City.
The Criminologists were up by just three, 68-65, heading to the last period but unleashed a vicious 18-2 run to gain full control of the game and eventually come away with the win.
Left-handed gunner Jerome Soque had 29 points on an efficient 13-of-19 shooting clip for the Criminologists. Ireneo Dalogdog had 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Raymart Quisel filled the stat sheet up with 17 points, 20 boards, seven assists and four steals.
Meanwhile, the PIPCA Skeptics downed the Kwentadors, 81-65. Rey Desamparado scored 20 points for the Skeptics, but it was Gil Pausanos that stole the show as he logged in a monster double-double of 19 points and 23 rebounds. / JNP
