THE Davao City Police Office dominated five events to emerge overall team champion in the 2010 Philippine National Police Region 11 Sportsfest last Sunday at the Camp Catitipan grounds.
DCPO under City Director Police Senior Supt. Rene Aspera ruled the lawn tennis, badminton men's doubles, singles and doubles in darts and golf held earlier at the Davao City Golf Club.
DCPO also finally won the lawn tennis competition dominated in the past by Davao del Sur (DSPO) and Davao del Norte (DNPO).
This time, DSPO settled for second place followed by Compostela Valley Province (CVPPO).
DCPO crushed DSPO, 3-0 and blanked the Regional Head Quarters (RHQ), 3-0. DCPO also downed DNPO, CVPPO and the Regional Public Management Safety Battalion (RPMSB) in similar 3-1 wins.
