MANILA -- A Malacanang official on Thursday said President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III will be a "workaholic President".
Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda in a press briefing related how the campaign has changed the lifestyle of the first ever bachelor leader of the country.
“His (Mr. Aquino) work ethics drastically changed during the campaign compared to his Senate days,” he said.
One thing Lacierda noted is the wake up time of President Aquino.
He said Aquino was not obliged to wake up early since work in Senate was mostly in the afternoon.
He said the sorties of the President during the campaign had helped him to be an early riser and further hone his leadership skills.
“He (Aquino) has hands-on management style which he now applies and will apply during the Cabinet meetings and issuances of directives.”
Lacierda admitted that the President is still adjusting to his new job but he will have more time to polish it when he settles in Malacanang as his working and residential place.
He also said that even him and other members of the Aquino Cabinet are still adapting to their new duties and responsibilities. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
