AN AVID named Brent got on a bus with both of his front pockets full of golf balls. He sat down next to a beautiful blonde named Charmaine. Charmaine had a puzzled look on her face and kept looking at Brent and his bulging pockets.

Finally, after she continued staring at his pockets Brent said to her, "It is golf balls." Nevertheless, Charmaine continued to look at him for a very long time, pondering what he had said. After several minutes, not being able to contain her curiosity any longer, Charmaine asked: "Does it hurt as much as tennis elbow?"

I had to post a joke that was golf-and tennis-related because...It is Wimbledon time! Yehey! Sports fans, including me, are glued to their TV sets this week. Who do you think will win?

Tiger Woods chismis time. According to Global Golf Post, RadarOnline is reporting "that Woods and his estranged wife, Elin Nordegren, are close to signing divorce papers. And a report recently issued by CNBC, after studying a 40-page financial presentation by IMG that the company put together in successfully raising between $300 million and $350 million to refinance current debt, placed Tiger's financial hit from lost endorsements in 2009 conservatively at between $23 and $30 million."

I also read that Tiger Woods is not the father of the 9-year-old son of Devon James. Although Tiger never had a paternity test to prove his innocence, TMZ.com was able to obtain a DNA test document done in 2002 on another guy, and this guy proved he was 99.99 percent likely to be the father of the child.

In the LPGA, the 56th LPGA Championship ended last June 27, 2010. Cristie Kerr won the tournament with a score of 19 under par. She broke the record for having the lowest score in LPGA Championship history beating Betsy King's 17 under par in the year 1992. In second place is S H Kim with 7 under par. in third place is A Miyazato with a score of 5 under par.

Kerr also broke the record for the largest winning margin in LPGA Championship history with a 12-shot advantage. (Betsy King had the record previously with an 11-shot advantage.) Cristie Kerr is expected to become the first American to take the top spot in the Rolex World Rankings since 2006.
