MANILA -- President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III is expecting the structure of the communications group to be finalized this week.
Aquino, during his first press briefing in Malacanang Wednesday, said he has set a deadline for himself to be able to make the communications group operational before the weekends.
“I gave myself a deadline of this week to form the communications group, to name the secretaries that will be art of the group,” he said.
Names of TV news anchor Ricky Carandang and national broadsheet columnist Manolo Quezon III have been floating to be part of the group.
Aquino confirmed that the two will be part of the media group. “They are the people who have helped us in the media campaign during the campaign.” (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
