A PUBLIC utility jeepney driver was held up Tuesday evening after an unidentified suspect transacted to occupy the PUJ, police said Wednesday.
Police Station 1 officers identified the victims as Ojelito Naranja, 33, residents of Murcia, together with his 13-year-old relative.
The police said that around 6:50 p.m of last Tuesday, in the area of Reclamation, an unidentified suspect transacted the victim to occupy his PUJ plying Bata-Libertad, and while traveling in the middle of said area, another unidentified person riding in motorcycle approached them and declared hold up with the used of bladed weapon.
It added that the suspects carted away the victim's money P1,400 and his two units of cellphone.
Meanwhile, another 21 year old man was also hit by the holdupper in the area of Bacolod while waiting for his sister Wednesday morning.
Romer Supat, single, and resident of Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City personally appeared before the Office of Police Station 2 to lodge robbery complaint.
Supat claimed that around 2:45 a.m yesterday, while he's waiting for his sister at North Drive Lacson Streets, one unidentified person held him up with the used of bladed weapon, and took his wallet contained passport, id's, and P900 cash of money, and one unit of cellphone.
He said after the incident the suspect immediately fled away towards unknown direction.
