All eyes were focused on the two as the entertainment press fires questions to both of them.
Mariel's Wowowee co-host Pokwang, who happens to be the leading lady of Zanjoe in "Puso" episode of "Cinco", shared that she had a kissing scene with the actor.
Pokwang jokingly said she was not able to ask any help for the scene and just texted Mariel after the shooting, to which the latter merely responded with a smile.
When asked if she hypothetically believed in bad karma in being unfaithful in a relationship, Mariel said: "If someone is unfaithful, siguro it could happen, but as much as possible I would like to think na someone will not ask for that to happen."
The actress, who kept her cool the entire press conference, said she is happy right now and has all the time in the world for love.
"I am ready for love. I really love myself," she said.
Mariel topbills the second-episode of "Cinco" entitled "Mukha." This is her second movie after Star Cinema's "Agent X-44" in 2007. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
