BENCH underwear model Rafael Rosell and actress Denise Laurel will sizzle everyone's afternoon in their upcoming team-up in Precious Hearts Romances' Midnight Phantom.
The story, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, was based on a pocketbook written by acclaimed writer Martha Cecilia.
Rosell will give life to the mysterious radio DJ Brando who is well-known as the "Midnight Phantom." Many were captivated with his voice among them is Laurel's character Nadja.
As she gets to know the Midnight Phantom, secrets were revealed which changes the course of their lives forever.
"It is hard for me because I will be portraying a younger role and it's something new as compared to my past projects," the actress said.
"Midnight Phantom" is also the first loveteam project of Rosell and Laurel though they worked on Bud Brothers, but with different partners.
Molina admitted that, at first, she did not want to cast Rosell because of his acting prowess and looks.
But after he played as Mariel Rodriguez's husband in Bud Brothers, she loved him since.
"I'm happy because I was able to show what I can really do and I too earn Direk Cathy's respect," Rosell said.
Also starring in this series are Charee Pineda, Jommy Teotico, Hansen Nichols and critically-acclaimed indie actor JM de Guzman. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
