Himamaylan robbery suspects nabbed

ONE of the four robbery suspects in Himamaylan City was nabbed by the local police Wednesday night.

Himamaylan City Police chief Superintendent Antonietto Cañete identified the arrested suspect as Joel Eleuperio, 44, a resident of Purok Bagumbayan, Barangay 7, Isabela town.

Eleuperio was one of four suspects tagged in the robbery hold-up of Emily Sarocam, 27, a store owner, in Barangay Aguisan.

The suspect and his three companions who were armed with short caliber firearms carted away P3,000 from Sarocam during the heist.

Cañete said Eleuperio is now detained at the lock-up cell of Himamaylan City police and a manhunt operation is being conducted to arrest the three other suspects. (MAP)
