SUN.STAR Davao turns 15 with a raffle promo for its readers that feature today's cool gadgets. Aside from that, regular readers of its Visayan tabloid, Sun.Star Davao Superbalita also get the chance to win prizes that can earn them a livelihood.
"Sun.Star v15" celebrates Sun.Star Davao's 15 years of service to the public during which it brought outstanding journalism to the community -- winning a total of 52 awards for the newspaper aside from the numerous individual awards won by its staff members.
At stake for the lucky readers on its 15th anniversary raffle promo are a 10.1" Neo Notebook, a Blackberry Curve 8520 from Globe, a Nokia 2730 Classic from Smart, and a Swatch Color Code Watch.
Joining the promo is easy, just cut out the raffle coupon printed inside the newspaper every day, answer the question on the front ear ad of Sun.Star Davao between June 23, 2010 and September 23, 2010, fill up the information asked for in the coupon (name, address, contact number, and signature), attach a Sun.Star Davao masthead (the big Sun.Star Davao logo on the front page), place both coupon and masthead in a white envelop and drop this at designated drop boxes or send it to Sun.Star Davao, Granland Bldg., R. Castillo St., Agdao, Davao City.
The raffle promo is also open to advertisers. Every P1,000 prepaid of P2,000 charged account worth of advertisements between June 23 to September 23 is equivalent to one raffle coupon.
Monthly raffles are on July 26, August 25, and September 27, and the grand draw will also be on Septeber 27.
Deadline for dropping of entries is at 5 p.m. two days before a draw.
Entries not picked for the month will not be included in the raffle the following month.
There is no limit to the number of raffle coupons one person can send.
Names of the winners will be published in Sun.Star Davao two days after the draw. Only the person whose name appears on the coupon will be given the prize upon presentation of at least two valid identification documents such as SSS ID, GSIS ID, driver's license, school ID, certification of barangay captain where claimant resides. Prizes not claimed from the Sun.Star Davao office at Granland Building in Agdao 60 days after the draw will be forfeited in favor of Sun.Star Davao.

Raffle coupons that have to be filled up are printed in every issue of Superbalita.
Up for grabs are gift certificates worth P1,000 each, one sewing machine, and one Honda motorcycle.
