GOOD news for outdoor sports enthusiasts, one group is offering more events in the next few months.
“In the succeeding months, we will be offering several outdoor events in Cebu, as well as for our neighboring tourist destinations,” said Primer Core Regional Director Dino De Leon.
According to De Leon, their group will help Central Visayas boost its tourism industry by offering adventure tourism-related events.
On Sept. 12, The North Face, one of their leading brands, will be hosting an adventure race dubbed the “Thrill of the Trail.” It will be held in Bohol and interested Cebuanos can start registering this month at the R.O.X. shop in Ayala Active Zone.
Later this year, another Primer Core outdoor product, Columbia, will be hosting a duathlon in Balamban, Cebu. It will have mountain biking and running disciplines.
“As of this time, the mountain trail is still on the drawing board but definitely it will be held before the year ends,” said de Leon.
He added the mountain trail run will be a new addition for the running community as runners can get a new perspective of Cebu.
“The terrains in Cebu are perfect for the event, and the runners can get a chance to get fresh air and appreciate nature,” he said.
