TWO special police probe teams were formed to handle the killing of a Provincial Board member in Aklan and the grenade attack at his house a month before the May 2010 polls.
Chief Superintendent Samuel D. Pagdilao Jr., Police Regional Office in Western Visayas head, has directed this week the creation of the two special police probe teams.
The two teams under the Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) "Baldomero" will fast track the probe in the murder of Fernando Baldomero in Kalibo, Aklan.
Baldomero is a Bayan Muna activist in the province and was elected as Municipal Council member in the last election.
Meanwhile, the province of Aklan under Governor Carlito Marquez has raised half a million reward money in exchange for any information that will lead to the arrest of the suspects of the killing. ( Lydia C. Pendon)
