'Pineda's energy at work inspiring'
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO-- Third District Board Member Monina "Monz" Laus on Tuesday lauded Governor Lilia Pineda's first few weeks in office saying that the lady governor's energy at work is inspiring and a cause for emulation among other government leaders in the province.
"She comes to work early and never seems to get tired of meeting so many people every day," Laus told Sun.Star Pampanga.
Laus, who has been personally helping Pineda with errands at the Capitol for a couple of days now, said that Pineda has been meeting hundreds of people everyday regarding concerns from the Capitol and even for the needs of far-flung barangays.
"The Capitol has never been more vibrant. You would see so many people lining up for social services and Governor Pineda tries her best to address everyone who comes to her office. She would be doing such tasks in between inspection of hospitals and meetings with various departments," Laus said.
Despite of the heavy work, Laus said that Pineda has always been gracious amid the pressure. Laus said that Pineda has been hands-on since her first day in office and always aspires for accomplishing as much work as possible.
Laus added that Pineda's work ethic should be emulated by other government leaders in the region. (Ian Ocampo Flora)
