MANILA -- President Benigno Aquino III has appointed Cibac Partylist Representative Joel Villanueva as the head Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (Tesda).
He also confirmed the appointment of former Akbayan Representative Etta Rosales as chairperson of Commission on Human Rights (CHR).
The President said he tasked Villanueva to ensure scholarship particularly of high school students.
Villanueva is the son of religious leader Bro. Eddie Villanueva.
Aquino, meanwhile, said he is considering Andy Bautista either as solicitor general or undersecretary of Department of Justice. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
