THE body of the 44-year-old construction helper was found dead and lying on his back inside the room of an ongoing construction of a residential house in Bacolod City.
Police Station 2 investigative section led by Police Officer 1 Ermelo Jalandoni identified the victim as Richard Olasiman, married, of Purok 6, Barangay West Balabag, Valencia, Negros Oriental.
Jalandoni said that the victim was found inside the room he was sleeping located at San Juan Street, Purok Casing-Casing, Barangay 10 and owned by the Rural Bank of Buena, of Iloilo City.
He said that the victim is working as a construction helper of Quin P. Torres Construction, the developer of the said residential house.
Jalandoni claimed that based on initial investigation, it showed that aside from the helper (victim) he was also task by their foreman as a cook, of which at around 6 a.m., he was awakened by his companion to cook their food, and was then discovered lifeless.
He said that it was also learned that before the said incident, the victim got an overtime until 11 p.m. of last Tuesday, after which, the victim drank three bottles of liquor before getting to sleep together with his co-worker.
But Jalandoni further explained that based on the claim of the victim's companion, that the day before of said incident, he dreamed that there was a woman appeared on his dream telling him not to continue the construction of said residential house because if not, there were something will happen on the member of their group.
Jalandoni said that the companion of the victim believes that the said residential house was quit enchanted.
