THE search for the next Cebuano billiard star starts as the 2010 Sun.Star Superbalita 9-Ball Challenge Class B Division first qualifying round opens on Wednesday at the Kiosk Billiard Hall on Osmeña Blvd.
The qualifying tournament will be held every month in every category leading up to the finals in November, when some of the country’s top players are expected to see action in the elite division.
Four qualifiers will be picked every month to join the Top 16.
The registration fee for the Class B competition is P250.
The qualifying round in the elementary and high school divisions will be on July 24.
