AFTER six weeks of being away from the glitz and glamour of showbiz, "Rubi" star Angelica Panganiban is happy to be back.
It was in mid-May when Angelica together with partner Derek Ramsay flew to South Africa to watch the Fifa World Cup 2010.
The trip was personally planned by Derek for Angelica to experience the football fever, which is celebrated every four years.
“Ibang klase! parang lumulutang pa rin ako and parang binago ako ng mundo kasi nakita namin lahat,” Angelica said.
The actress added that they had the best bonding on their vacation and she was able to meet a lot of Derek's friends.
Upon her arrival in Manila, Angelica started working already and went straight to the taping of "Banana Split".
Meanwhile, days before their departure, news circulated in the entertainment industry linking them to a secret marriage outside the country.
Angelica cleared that no such event took place and there were no wedding or proposal celebrated.
“Hindi, kasi talagang bago pa naman kami umalis eh nililinaw na naman talaga namin yan na wala kaming planong mag pakasal,” she said.
Angelica added: "Nag-enjoy lang kami and wala kahit isa sa amin ang nag expect na pagusapan natin to." (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
