DTCC takes home 22 medals in mid-year ranking

FIRST-time national contenders Crispin Sato and Therese Andre Quilaton came home with the most medals for Dancesport Team Cebu City (DTCC) in the Dancesport Council of the Philippines Inc. (DSCPI) Mid-Year Ranking and Competition last Saturday night at the Philsports Arena.

Sato and Quilaton won two of DTCC’s seven gold medals. The team also came home with nine silver and six bronze medaLs.

Sato and Quilaton won the Modern Standard and Latin American Juvenile C division.

The couple are three-time champions of the DTCC Dancesport and HiHop Barangay competition circuit spread over seven months all over Cebu City.

Sato is a Grade 5 student of Apas Elememtary School, while Quilaton is a Grade 6 pupil of the Cebu City Central Elementary School.

The other gold medalists for DTCC were Lark Jabonero and Mary Ann Ferrer in the Special Event Male Latin; Christopher Albert Corro and Hanna Jane Deluvio in the Special Event 1 Female Standard; Wilbert Aunzo and Pearl Marie Cañeda in the Latin Youth A event; Lloyd Bartolini and Eleanor Hayco of the Modern Standard Grade B and Ronnie Vergara and Charlea Lagaras in the Grade A Latin.

The silver medalists for DTCC were Mark Rhony Flores and Michaelyn Ledda (Special Event 1 Female); Wilbert Aunzo and Pearl Marie Cañeda (Youth A Standard); Jefferson Pimentel and Daine Xyleen Balili (Youth A Latin); Rinzon Elarcosa and Reyana Mae Elarcosa (Junior A Latin); Davin Unabia and Kinue Sakurai (Senior C Standard); Alexander Montero and Ma. Zonnette Balbuena (Senior C Latin); Mark Rhony Flores and Michaelyn Ledda (Grade D Standard); Nelson Jabono and Venus Balde (Grade D Latin); Samson Orlanes and Mae Pabuaya (Grade C Standard ).
