Pia on Vic: We are okay

AFTER weeks of rumored rift of her relationship with comedian Vic Sotto, television host Pia Guanio breaks her silence, saying, "We are okay."

“There's nothing wrong with us. We're good. Even our working relationship in Eat Bulaga has not been affected in any way," she said in a television interview.

However, she admitted that they are going on rough times right now just like any relationship.

“I have to keep quiet because I didn't want too many people to get involved. I want to fix it muna, and we're in the process of doing that," she said.

Pia flew to Thailand to shoot a television commercial there but rumors has it that she went for a vacation and to re-consider the status of their relationship.

“This is not something that you just throw away and go. It's hard enough as it is for both of us without ten gazillion people giving their opinion, making up stories, getting involved,” she added.

Vic's side

Vic, in a phone interview aired in the same show, also cleared the rumors with his usual funny antics.

“Tulad ng sinabi ni Pia, like in any normal relationship, there will be differences pero it's not something that hindi kayang ayusin,” he said.

Vic said there are speculations that are getting in the way between them and it’s not helping the relationship.

“Kasi minsan yung mga espekulasyon, na walang imbestigasyon. Minsan nakakagulo sa isang relasyon,” he jokingly added.

“In other words, konting tampuhan, binigyan ng masamang kahulugan ng ilang tao hanggang sa lumaki nang lumaki. Yung tampuhan parang naging away, yung away naging hiwalayan. That's all I have to say,” Vic said.

Pia and Vic are both resident hosts in the afternoon variety Kapuso show "Eat Bulaga". (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
