TIM Ando and Benjie Boncato captured the class A and B titles, respectively, in the SBC Bowler of the Week Tournament at the Fairlanes Bowling Center Sunday night.
Ando rolled a total of 264 pins over Dennis Descallar's 259 and Vic Nugas's 241 in the weekly qualifying organized by the Sunday Bowlers Club.
Boncato garnered 227 pinfalls besting Boy Lapiz (223) who placed second and Bong Villamor (214) who finished third.
Sky Amsirabe emerged class C champion after hitting 216 pinfalls while Nash Amsirabe (214) and Muktan Amsirabe (210) took the next two spots.
The ladies title went to Mercy del Mar who struck for 224 pinfalls. Mae Belarmino was second with 207 and Jade Toribio third with 206.
The class champions received cash prizes and booked tickets to the monthly finals.
The Mayor Inday Sara and Vice Mayor Rody Duterte Handog Pasasalamat Open Bowling Tournament, meanwhile, will resume Tuesday night. The event offers P25,000 in total cash prizes. (MLSA)
