AS PART of the Diabetes Awareness Week, a free diabetes screening is set to be held on Thursday, July 22, at the Cagayan de Oro Press Club (COPC) in Velez St. starting at 3:00 p.m.
The diabetes screening, which is open to all members of the media, would include blood sugar testing, blood pressure checking and cholesterol screening.
Aside from actual screening, a lecture on diabetes would also be held, to be spearheaded by Dr. Irwin Arribas and Nitz Semprun.
In Cagayan de Oro, activities related to Diabetes Awareness Week started on
Sunday and ends on July 23, focusing on the theme "Stop Diabetes, Now Na!"
