'Bukas kotse' gang strikes

TWO vehicles of Dynamic Merger Inc. were hit by thieves Monday morning while they were parked at AU Son's Building, Cordova Avenue, Barangay 2, Bacolod City, the police said Monday.

Police records showed that Johan Aiza Tablizo and John Pomar of Dynamic Merger Inc personally appeared at Police Station 2 to lodge a theft complaint.

Tablizo claimed that, at around 2 a.m., she discovered that the left rear window of her Toyota Revo vehicle with plate number KCH-423 was forcibly opened by unidentified person/s who took the P150 placed beside the driver's side.

Pomar also claimed that the passenger side window of his Nissan vehicle with plate number KLN-613 was smashed by unidentified person/s who took one tire jack, tire wrench and hammer.

On the other hand, Wilmar Buyco, 23, and resident of Purok Paglaum, Barangay 17, Bacolod City also lodged a theft complaint before the Office of Police Station 2.

Police records showed that, at around 5:30 a.m. Monday, she discovered that her rice cooker, computer speaker, plastic plate, and 20 inches Panasonic TV worth P13,780 were missing.

In Cauayan, a 34-year-old suspect in a hacking incident was nabbed by members of the Cauayan PNP Sunday morning.

Cauayan PNP chief Nazer Canja identified the arrested suspect as Marlon Soguilon, a resident of Sitio Ilaya in Barangay Caliling, Cauayan.

Canja said the suspect hacked Efren Bautista who sustained wounds in different parts of his body and is presently being treated at the Cauayan District Hospital.

The suspect is presently detained at the Cauayan PNP lock-up cell pending the filing of appropriate charges against him.

Noppo director Manuel Felix lauded Canja and his men for the speedy arrest of the suspect.
