MULTI-TITLED Steve Grandeza will leave on Thursday with the rest of Team Phoenix Moo Duk Kwan Davao to see acton in the Ultimate Strikers Championship (USC) which gets underway at SM Bicutan Para¤aque on Saturday.

He will go up against Rommel "Big Daddy" Del in the main event while his stablemates Rudy "4k Kevkatchie" Tacogue and Carlo "Redrock" Laude will also try their luck in the undercard undercard bouts.
Grandeza said Phoenix Fuels' support to the team boosted their morale in their looming fights against highly-touted martial artists in the country.
Muay Thai Kickboxing Council of the Philippines regional director Edgar Alan Paulino is head coach of the team that will also have the services of Bryan Grandeza and Jojo Gatmaitan in the coaching staff.
Grandeza's father, MDK top brass Edgardo "Bing" Grandeza, is the chief instructor of the team.
The USC clash serves as Steve's preparation for his World title shot in Dubai in October where he will collide with Haddad "Van Damme" Okine of Ghana. (MLSA)
