MOVIEGOERS are up for big treats from the Kapamilya film outfit Star Cinema as three more movies are scheduled to be released this year.
Aside from the upcoming movie of Aga Muhlach and Angel Locsin, "Huling Sayaw", Star Cinema is set to bring Vhong Navarro, Bea Alonzo, Eugene Domingo, Ai-ai Delas Alas, Christopher de Leon ,and Lorna Tolentino this year in a project "Sa 'Yo Lamang".
Directed by Laurice Guillen, the project is a reunion of Bea and Lorna after they shared the boob tube in the 2002 drama "Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay".
"Isa ito sa mga highlight ng taon ko kasi binigyan at pinagkatiwalaan ako ng ABS-CBN ng ganito kalaking pelikula," Bea said.
Included in the movie are Coco Martin, Enchong Dee, Diether Ocampo, Zanjoe Marudo, Shaina Magdayao, Lauren Young, and Miles Ocampo.
Bulong
Another upcoming film is "Bulong", a horror project topbilled by dancer-comedian Vhong Navarro.
This movie will be the second horror movie of Star Cinema after "Cinco". which is still shown in more than 100 theaters nationwide.
Vhong said the caliber of the film is same with "Sukob" and "Feng Shiu" both produced by Star Cinema.
Tanging Ina last installment
Another much-anticipated event this year is the comeback of the Comedy Queen Ai-Ai Delas Alas on the big screen with the last installment of the "Tanging Ina" movie.
She will star with Eugene Domingo in this movie entitled: "Ang Tanging Ina Mo Rin (Last Na 'To!)", which is set to be the official entry of the film outfit for the 36th Metro Manila Film Festival.
According to Eugene, the movie retained the same stars in the first two movies of Tanging Ina and it will be directed by Wenn Deramas.
