AT LEAST 28 participants completed a two-day Beauty Care Training on Hairstyle for Women and Men held on July 19 to 20 at the Health Center in Barangay Camaman-an, this city.

The basic hairstyling course is one of the livelihood skills training programs offered by the City Government through the Community Improvement Division (CID) of the City Mayor's Office in partnership with the World Vision Development

Nena Salon, acting CID chief, said the training is aimed at providing alternative source of income to those who have not been earning much.

Salon said other skills training courses initiated by the city through the technical assistance of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority

(Tesda) include commercial cooking, baking and pastries, massage therapy, food processing and beauty care services.
