A PILOT and another individual were hurt when a spray plane plunged crashed into a house at Evergreen Farm in Barangay Datu Abdul, Panabo City Thursday morning.
Superintendent Alexander Serrano of the Panabo City police identified the victims as Capt. Carlito Caballero and one Aida Candia, a resident of Datu Abdul.
According to Serrano, Caballero was conducting a spraying operation on a banana plantation owned by the Lapanday Foods Corp. when the plane encountered mechanical trouble, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing.
But while doing this, Caballero hit a house owned by one Akmad Rasul, injuring Candia in the process. The house was a total wreck.
Both Caballero and Candia were immediately brought to the hospital even as authorities are conducting an investigation on the incident. (MP)
