A WOMAN was hacked to death by her neighbor Thursday morning at Sitio Dayap, Barangay Sirawan, Toril, Davao City.
The victim, Rowena Atilloso, died a few hours after she was brought to the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) following the attack.
The suspect was identified by police authorities as Kadil Patis Roger, who fled after the incident.
Based on the investigation conducted by Police Officer 2 Ferdinand Rojas of the Toril Police Station, the victim was inside her house when the suspect barged in and hacked her using a bolo at around 6:15 a.m.
Personal grudge was seen as the motive behind the killing.
The police have conducted a manhunt against the suspect. (AD)
