THE city jail visitor who was accosted the by jail guards for allegedly trying to sneak in shabu is now under the custody of the Baguio City Jail (BCJ).
The suspect, Heidi Domingo, is charged for violation of Sections 5 and 12 of the Comprehensive Anti Illegal Drugs Act, said Warden Rebecca Pawid.
Domingo was committed to the BCJ based on the orders of inquest prosecutor Evelyn Tagudar.
The substance confiscated from Domingo is confirmed to be shabu, Pawid said quoting the laboratory test done by the Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory in Camp Dangwa.
Recovered from the suspect were 0.06 grams and 0.10 grams of shabu placed inside two straws and further hidden inside a tube of toothpaste.
Domingo was accosted after one of the jail guards noticed the tube she brought in felt hard when squeezed. The tube was opened and revealed the two straws inserted inside.
Domingo is said to be a regular visitor of an inmate at the BCJ.
A similar incident occurred last year.
