A ONE-DAY training on Transparency and Anti-Corruption Reporting will be held Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Chali Beach Resort in Barangay Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.
The training, sponsored by the Philippine Public Transparency Reporting Project (PPTRP), is aimed at increasing the capacity of journalists, civil society and the public to jointly monitor, report, and promote transparency and accountability in the government.
The training will be conducted by the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP).
The PPTRP is a joint initiative of the NUJP, the Center for Community Journalism and Development, MindaNews and Institute for War and Peace Reporting. (PR)
