MANILA -- To answer the anomalies reported by President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III in his first State of the Nation Address (Sona), House Minority Leader and Representative Edcel Lagman (first district, Albay) is set to deliver his counter-Sona Tuesday afternoon.
Aquino's allegations in his speech pointed to the administration of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo who is now congresswoman of Pampanga's second district.
Lagman is expected to answer the statements of Aquino after he was elected as Minority Leader when he lost to Representative Feliciano "Sonny" Belmonte (fourth district, Quezon City) in the House speakership race.
During the first session of Congress, Lagman lost to Belmonte after garnering only 29 votes compared to the elected House Speaker's 227 votes. (Kathrina Alvarez/Sunnex)
