Suspect of Angeles massacre falls

SAN FERNANDO, La Union - The prime suspect in the gruesome massacre of five persons last July 22 in Angeles City was collared here recently.

La Union Police Provincial Director Ramon Purugganan identified the suspect as Mark Dizon and is now detained at Angeles City Police Office.

The suspect has warrants of arrest for a carnapping and double murder cases.

He was arrested about 4:00 p.m. Tuesday by joint elements of Angeles City Police Office and San Fernando City Police Station along Quezon Street here.

Accordingly, Dizon was positively identified by a witness as the man who ran out from the residence of American war veteran Albert Mitchell, his Filipina wife Jane and their house helpers Isabel Fajardo, Marissa Prado, and Yulberto Vergara.
