ENGINEERS from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will arrive today to conduct a survey of at the location of the flyover projects in Bacolod City.
Councilor Roberto “Bobby” Rojas, chairman of the Public Works Committee, said that he will accompany with these engineers in conducting the survey, including identification of areas where the facilities of utilities like the Bacolod City Water District, Central Negros Electric Cooperative, PLDT, Globe and Smart, among others, might be affected by the construction of the two flyover projects.
Rojas said they will invite representatives of these utility companies so that they will be guided in the transfer of their facilities to other areas.
They will also bring with them the draft of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) which will be signed by Mayor Evelio R. Leonardia and the DPWH official representative necessary for the construction of the flyover projects.
These flyover projects will be constructed at the intersections of Bata-Circumferential and Arane ta-Magsaysay.
