KAPUSO star Jackie Rice is happy that she was given another chance by the Kapuso network to be part of the upcoming fantaserye "Ilumina".
Jackie will star opposite Rhian Ramos in this new project set to be aired after Endless Love on GMA-7.
The two will play as twins bonded by faith and separated by love and hatred.
Jackie said she was really shocked when GMA tapped her to do kontrabida role in "Ilumina".
“Nashock ako kasi alam ko na si Rhian eh napakagaling na artista, eh ako naman baguhan lang naman. Hindi naman nila pinaramdam sa akin na medyo off ako kasi winelcome nila ako ng maayos,” she said.
Jackie added that she's focus with her career more than ever.
“Nagiging mabait lang ako at hindi na ako gumi-gimick, on time ako at ipinapakita ko na gusto ko yung trabaho ko and mahal ko to,” she reiterated. “Ginagawa ko to dahil ito na po talaga yung gusto ko eh."
It can be remembered that Jackie was once called a "pasaway" during her Star Struck years.
She knows the trust and how big this opportunity given to her that's why doing everything to do good with it.
Aside from her wonderful career, Jackie said her five-month non-showbiz boyfriend is very supportive with her job.
She said that the guy knows its her career that comes first before anything else.
The two are planning to build their own restaurant business in the future but Jackie dismissed wedding bells issue.
“Kung mahal nya talaga ako eh hindi nya ako ibaba, susuportahan nya ako at aantayin nya talaga ako.”
