8 PAL flights remain cancelled (8:15 a.m.)

MANILA -- Flag carrier Philippine Airlines continues to do some adjustments on its flight schedules with eight flights still cancelled Sunday.

Radio reports said the flights that remained cancelled as of this posting Sunday are PR-181 and 182 (to and from Cagayan), PR-847 and 848 (to and from Cebu), PR-133 and 134 (to and from Bacolod), and PR-147 and 148 (to and from Iloilo).

PAL spokesman Jonathan Gesmundo said they are still looking for pilots to fly the stranded passengers after several of the airline's pilots resigned.

Gesmundo said they will be filing appropriate charges against those pilots who resigned on Saturday without prior notice.

The pilots transferred to other airlines after being offered with bigger salaries, leaving 11 flights of PAL cancelled Saturday. (Sunnex)
