Village chiefs laud guv for health programs

CANDABA - The Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) here expressed gratitude to Governor Lilia Pineda on Saturday as she personally examined the health needs of every village.

ABC president Feliciano Pelayo said the good relationship between the officials of the local government and the governor will benefit their constituents particularly with their medical needs.

Meanwhile, Pineda encouraged the barangay chiefs to present program of works and identify priorities in order to address the immediate needs of the people.

Pineda added that the Provincial Government has secured services of medical experts in different fields. They will serve as consultants and focal persons in various medical missions in the towns of the province.

In a short dialogue with the local officials, Pineda asked Pelayo to designate a specific room, which will serve as an emergency clinic.
