Attunaga said Gelbore was nabbed around 5:30 p.m. Saturday after Limma Puentevella reported the snatching incident at Burgos Street. In coordination with Task Force Multiplier of BCPO, the police immediately spotted the suspect casually walking at the corner of Malaspina-Hilado Streets. He was positively identified by the victim.

Police recovered a blue bag containing Armscor .38 caliber revolver bearing serial number 1027391 with three live ammos and one set of billiard balls.

Attunaga said that in their follow up recovery operations at Purok Lampirong, Barangay 2, they recovered six pieces of plastic chairs and one mountain bike with mark GTS.

PO1 Hermenio Jalandoni said Gelbore was a former police officer of BCPO but was dismissed from service and is now allegedly involved in several theft cases in the city.

On the other hand, Dino was also nabbed around 11:00 p.m. last Friday by Police Station 2 personnel following the snatching complaint filed by Arra Saludares, 25, of City Heights Subdivision, Bacolod City.

Attunaga said the complainant claimed that while she was walking inside the Capitol Lagoon with her companion Emmanuel Torillo, 35, of Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, her bag was suddenly snatched by the said suspect.

The suspect was nabbed in the follow up operation conducted in the said area. He was apprehended in front of the Provincial Health Center with the help of bystanders who tried to mob the suspect when he ran towards north Gatuslao Street.
