20-year-old 'concubine' nabbed

A 20-YEAR-OLD woman was nabbed for concubinage Monday morning by the Bago City Police.

Bago Police spokesman Clifford Batadhay identified the suspect as Vigielyn Leano, 20, and a resident of Barangay Mailum, Bago.

She was arrested by a team led by Police Officer 3 Jimmy Potestad by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Herminigildo Octaviano of the Bago MTCC who recommended a bail of P6,000 for her temporary liberty.

On the other hand, Senior Police Officer 2 Ramon Garalda arrested 58-year-old Azucena Bustillo of Barangay Poblacion for violation of Republic Act 9287 or the amended Gambling Law.

The police said the apprehension of the suspect is by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Frances Guanzon of RTC Branch 62-Bago City who recommended a bail of P20,000 bail for his temporary liberty.

Both suspects were turned over to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Bago for their failure to post bail.

Negros Occidental Provincial Police Officer Director Manuel Felix lauded the Bago City Police for their accomplishments against wanted persons in the city.
