THE Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards (RTWPB) approved wage increase of employees in private sectors in four regions.
Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz said in a radio interview that the new minimum wage rate covers all private sector minimum wage earners in Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, Caraga Region, and Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Armm).
Baldoz said the wage orders will be issued after the affirmation of the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC).
The increase will take effect 15 days after the issuance.
RTWPB approved P21 daily wage hike in Davao region, P10 in Caraga Region, and P12 in Armm. (Sunnex)
