Flights canceled due to 'Ester' (9:06 a.m.)
TWO SeaAir flights on Saturday were canceled due to tropical depression "Ester," a report said.
A Bombo Radyo report said Saturday that according to Media Affairs Bureau of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, SeaAir canceled Flight 605 from Manila bound to Basco, Batanes and Flight 606 from Basco to Manila.
Ten provinces were placed under storm signal number 1 as Ester continues to move toward Cagayan.
The provinces under storm signal number 1 include Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Cagayan, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Northern Isabela, Batanes, Babuyan Island, and Calayan Islands. (Sunnex)
