TWICE-to-beat Sammy Talaboc avenged his first game loss beating Joshua Disuacido, 211-199, in the sudden death championship match of the Datba Lanemasters Monthly Finals held at the NCCC Mall B3 Lanes over the weekend.

Disuacido, who was only fifth after the eliminations, stunned Talaboc, 219-206, in the first game of their titular showdown.

Disuacido climbed his way up to meet Talaboc after eliminating No. 4 Danny Usman, No. 3 Paquito Santos and No. 2 Man-Man Nierra.

Talaboc went on to pocket the top purse of P3,000 while Disuacido got P2,000 and Nierra settled for P1,000. They also received trophies in the meet organized by Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association.

Santos and Usman, meanwhile, went home with P700 each for placing fourth and fifth, respectively.

Nierra, Usman and Santos were the night's winners of free meal tickets for hitting five straight strikes. (MLSA)
