PAREF Springdale School showed its dominance in the 12-Under category in the 2nd BTC Cup by sweeping its four assignments over the weekend at the Banilad Town Centre.

Not to be outdone, the Sotero B. Cabahug (SBC) Forum for Literacy and San Isidro Parish School (SIPS) also tallied wins.

Springdale A conquered its rivals from Sacred Heart School - Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-Ateneo), Cebu Cherish School (CCS), Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) and its sister Team B last Saturday and Sunday.

Joseph Jaime Sainz played a key role in all the games, and had six in their 6-3 win over SHS-Ateneo de Cebu A.

Sainz contributed half of his team’s score in their 12-2 win over CCS, and had 11 shots in crushing DBTC, 13-8.

Ivan Gregory Tan led SBC Forum in defeating SHS-Ateneo B, 8-1, scoring six points. He also had 3 points in their 7-5 win over CCS.

Tan and Pepito scored three each to lead SBC Forum over Philippine Christian Gospel School (PCGS), 6-4.

SIPS of Talamban relied on Joshua Riner Ramas who scored all his team’s points in their 7-6 win over Southwestern University, 7-6.

Ramas also had six points in beating CCS-2, 9-6, and scored 7 to help beat SHS-Ateneo A, 10-6. (PR)
