Health office to adopt new system

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - Acting Provincial Health Office (PHO) head Dr. Eddie Ponio said he plans to adopt a system designed to monitor the performance of the hospital employees in order to serve patients better.

Ponio declared that he will initially focus on the health programs implemented by the present provincial administration.

Ponio said he will first adopt the system of Governor Lilia "Nanay Baby" Pineda after which he will pattern whatever internal policy or system that PHO will implement to achieve its objective.

It can be recalled that the Civil Service Commission (CSC) previously ordered the reinstatement of Ponio to his original post as provincial health officer.

Ponio was designated as acting provincial health officer last month.
