DURING the tell-all interview of Cristine Reyes on "The Buzz", he compared co-star Zanjoe Marudo to "pork chop".

When asked about his reaction on this during the press conference of their upcoming show "Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Kristine Series", Zanjoe uttered “thank you” with a smile.

“Nakakatuwa na yung ikukumpara ka sa isang magandang bagay, sa isang pagkain,” he said and jokingly added “na hindi mo pa naman natitikman”.

Cristine then fires back and said she made the statement because Zanjoe has been very nice towards her since they started shooting Kristine.

But when it was the actor's turn to compare Cristine to a viand, he said: "Para syang Bangus (milk fish) dahil matinik sa mga boys".

The actress who was seated beside him jokingly jab Zanjoe in the arms while the entertainment press were laughing at the actor's words.

“Kasi pinagpapantasyahan ng mga kalalakihan yan kaya matinik sa boy,” he reasoned out.

Zanjoe is hesitant to say that something might be formed while they are working for Kristine because their main focus now is work.

“Magkatrabaho kami at mahaba pa yung pagsasamahan namin kaya hindi ko minamadali yung lahat ng bagay,” he said.

Zanjoe added: “Importante sa amin yung working relationship namin dito sa Kristine and kung hahaluan agad ng personal eh mag suffer o kaya magkaroon ng problema. Go with the flow na lang kung anong mangyari.”

The actor also cleared that he's not like other men where they will try to replace someone with another girl because he can move on by himself.

“Ayoko na may gagamitin akong ibang tao para maka-move on. Katulad ngayon nagawa ko naman ng mag-isa kaya ok lang.”

Zanjoe’s relationship with TV-host actress Mariel Rodriguez just recently ended.
