76-YEAR-OLD actor Charlie Davao will be laid to rest today, Friday in Heritage Park, the family said anew.
Charlie's wake is now at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City.
On Thursday night, a necrological service was held for the veteran actor witnessed by family friends and friends in showbiz.
During the rite, Davao's son Ricky Davao said although they expressed grief over their father's death, still they were happy because he is now with God.
Davao, whose real name is Charles Dabao, died at around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, August 8, of colon cancer at the Philippine General Hospital.
Charlie was born in Iloilo and started in the showbiz industry on 1959. (Sunnex)
