THE 7th Languyan sa Kadayawawn Inter-School Swimming Competition plunges into action on August 28 at the Ladislawa Garden Country Club.

Organizer Darren Evangelista, in a fact sheet Friday, said the one day event is open to all bona fide students enrolled since the beginning of this school year.

Evangelista said 40 events are entered in the competition that will have six years old and under, seven to nine, 10-12, 13-14 and 15-above categories.

Gold, silver and bronze medals will be given away to the top three finishers in every event. Trophies will awarded to the top three teams based on points. The most outstanding swimmer per category, still based on points, will receive special awards.

Evangelista said the deadline of submission of entries is on August 25 at 7 p.m. Late submission will no longer be accommodated.

Registration fee is P300 per swimmer. A swimmer can compete in as many events he or she can join. (MLSA)
